Slovak music: Tutorial library for choirs

[Výučbová knižnica pre spevácke zbory po Slovensky.]

This online library is intended for choirs, choir singers and all people who would like to sing compositions by Slovak authors. It was created with the financial support of Slovak Arts Council (Fond na podporu umenia).

For each of the compositions below, there are recordings, lyrics and their translations. Each composition has its own page containing basic information and the translation of the common lyrics. This page then points to other separate subpages for sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.

This way, singers from the individual vocal groups can look at their own lyrics, their transcription to the International Phonetic Alphabet along with recordings:
– A recording with the particular vocal group in the foreground
– A recording without the voice group for practice singing
– A recording of all vocal groups
– A sample choral performance

The materials have been recorded by selected members of the Technik STU Choir. If you are interested in singing with the Technik STU choir, consider joining us.
